Did you know that you can now use Chase Ultimate Rewards points to pay for ANY purchase you charge to a Chase Ultimate Rewards-earning card? Not just travel purchases!
Using their Pay Yourself Back feature, which used to only work for select categories of spending like groceries or gas, you can now use it to cover ANY charge, not just a TRAVEL charge.
You’ll earn a value of 1 cent per point, the exact same value as you earn with Capital One miles, except with Capital One it must be a travel charge in order to use your miles to pay for the purchase. Not with Chase!
You can even use your points to cover the cost of joining Families Fly Free so it’s ZERO out of pocket, allowing you to learn my simple system to always fly your family for free using miles and points FOR FREE!
It’s a no brainer!
The Chase Pay Yourself Back feature works for…
- Chase Sapphire Preferred and Reserve
- Chase Freedom cards
- Chase Ink business cards
You have 90 days AFTER you charge the purchase to your card to accrue and use your points to PAY FOR the charge.
Don’t have enough points? Add a bonus like this fantastic offer on Chase Ink Business Unlimited to earn the points and then move the points to the card to which you charge the purchase within 90 days. Then you can use them to pay for the charge.
Here’s a quick video on how it works. You’ll do the same thing I did with McDonald’s for ANY purchase you’d like to erase with points.
I hope you enjoy my fantastic discovery! This is the type of creative thinking and ways of saving on ALL your travel my Families Fly Free members enjoy as part of my simple system to use miles and points to fly for free. We are always adapting and changing, using the newest, simplest and BEST ways to save on travel just like this.
